Dippin' Dough Cookie Co.

Roton Middle School's "Dipplin' Dough Cookie Co." was open for business this week! Dippin' Dough Cookie Co. was created by the Roton Middle School's after school Entrepreneurship program for kids to experience firsthand what it takes to start a business.  During this 10-week session, students developed a business plan, named their business and created a logo,  worked on product development (cumulating in their "Jam Session' cookie-– a lemon butter cookie, with strawberry jam on top, vanilla icing drizzle and graham cracker crumble), and created packaging and a sales plan with final distribution this week.

The entrepreneurship program was one of many after school classes offered at Roton Middle School this year to increase student engagement and encourage learning outside of school.  Thank you to parent volunteer Josh Homewood and Amanda Baird of Baird's Bangin' Bakery for all of their help.  We can't wait to see what these students develop in the future!
