School Counselors
School Counselors are certified educators who work to maximize student success.
School counselors work with teachers and other educators to help students explore their potential and set realistic goals for themselves. They seek to identify and utilize school and community resources that can enhance and complement the comprehensive school counseling programs. They apply academic and achievement strategies and plan for post secondary options.

Naviance
School counselors work with a web-based Career/College Planning and Advising Tool called Naviance Student. Students start working in Naviance in middle school and will be given a user name and password.
Student Success Plan initiatives are a grade 6 through 12 continuum that involves guidance activities each year in development of the postsecondary plan.
